Chris Tsiofas is the principal of MTN. He oversees all work at MTN and brings to each client the benefit of over 25 years of practical business experience. Chris has been in public accounting since 1991 having started his career with PWC (formerly Coopers & Lybrand), one of the big four international accountancy firms. He gained significant experience as a tax specialist at PWC before co-founding the partnership of Myers Tsiofas Norheim. As a partner, he provided clients across many industries with strategic advice relating to their finance, tax planning and business strategy needs for over 20 years.
In addition to his CPA practice, Chris is also an entrepreneur who has invested in and actively managed other businesses in various industries throughout his career. He knows first-hand the challenges business owners face at various stages from start-up, to growth, through to possible exit strategies.
Chris is a member of CPA Ontario and the Canadian Tax Foundation. His practical experience has covered a wide range of taxation planning and compliance issues. His clients include small companies to large public corporations, family owned and owner-managed businesses, trusts and individuals. He presently serves on the board of a publicly listed corporation and is chair of the company’s audit committee.
The MTN team also includes a number of professional CPAs and bookkeepers who support MTN clients with their transactional requirements as well their ongoing bookkeeping, reporting and filing needs.
